A history of service. A heritage of trust.

With the purchase of the L.H. Dotts Funeral Home in the village of Skippack in 1966, Bob Williams, Jr. pledged to keep alive the tradition of personal, attentive service that had been established long before. Throughout his life, he made certain that he and his associates offered the quality of service that families could trust. Then, the construction of the new Skippack chapel in 1972 just outside the village, made his compassionate service available to more families in the region.

Since then, the funeral home has continued to improve services and facilities. The Franconia Chapel, known as Williams-Bergey-Koffel Funeral Home, was constructed in 1999 to be the most spacious and comfortable in the area. At both locations, we take special pride in the landscaping, parking, and guest accessibility. However, while we are so very proud of our exceptional facilities, we are most proud of our greatest asset we have to offer, the exceptional service and care that we provide to our families which simply does not end on the day of the funeral.

Still family-owned.

Unlike many of today's funeral homes, we are still a locally-owned and operated family business, with a deep connection and commitment to the community. Our associates are active members of civic support organizations such as the Jaycees, Rotary, planning commissions, as well as many churches and religious organizations.

Over the years, the R. L. Williams, Jr. Funeral Home, Inc. has established a reputation for dedication to quality and fair pricing, providing beautiful, dignified services that honor and celebrate the life of a loved one. Please call for an appointment to visit. You are welcome at any time.
